Captain John McCorvie left London for overseas December 12th, 1916. He was appointed Assistant Adjutant for the O.C. of the Canadian Army Medical Corps Training School at Shorncliffe, Kent, February 8th, 1917, and July 25th, 1917, was attached to Ravenscroft Military Hospital, Seaford, the Auxiliary of the No.10 Canadian Stationary Hospital, Eastbourne. He crossed to France December 6th, 1917, No.10 Canadian Stationary Hospital. Invalided to England with trench fever Feb 20th 1918 , with A.D.M.S. Canadian, London Area, April 16th 1918 to Jan 13th 1919. Sailed for Canada Feb 2nd 1919 and reached London, Ont. Feb 16th 1919.

Discharged May 13th 1919 due to demobilization.
