Son of Parents- Mr. Charles & Mrs. Charlotte Adkin.

Reported returning from overseas on board the S. S. “New Amsterdam” part of a contingent of RCR members.

It was reported in the CDN 13/01/45 that after serving in North Africa, Sicily and Italy. It was while in Italy during the battle of Ortona he was seriously wounded in the legs and had bee repatriated to Canada. The had recently been in Westminster Hospital under going additional surgery on his legs he had been in hospital in Canada for some eight months.

Discharged September 1945.
