He enlisted in the 1st Kent Regt. Trained at London and Niagara Falls, ON. Halifax NS and New Westminister BC. Pte. Anderson transferred to the Essex Scottish Regt. and went to France 12 July, 1944. He was reported seriously wounded. Jack was reported to be arriving in Chatham after crossing on the S. S. “Louis Pasteur” and being process on leave in London, ON.

Supplemental Information Son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Anderson of 107 Emma St., Chatham, ON., previously his address had been 32 ½ Murray St., Chatham. Born in Moncton, NB. Jack attended Central School and the Chatham Collegiate Institute.
