Son of Mr. & Mrs. Montague Anions of Beechwood, Howard Twsp., later of Ridgetown, Kent Co., brother of Barbara.

The CDN 9/08/44 that Richard ‘Dick’ H. Anions had been promoted to Pilot Officer.

It was reported in the Ridgetown Dominion that P/O Anions was forced down in Labrador while on a bomber ferry flight to England.   Found on Beechwood Community – Roll of Honour. Howard Twsp., Kent Co., ON. RI 19/05/10 

F/O. Anions married Winifred Eva (nee Shute) at St. Stephens’ Anglican church, Thamesville on Saturday the 14th of February, 1945. CDN 14/02/45.
