It was reported in the WN 10/05/45 that Pte. Arnold, then serving at Camp Bordon had married Abbie (nee Vanderveer) of Sarnia when the couple were fetted at the home of Eddie Arnold Bradsaw at his home with 150 friend and relatives of the couple. A “sizable collection in Pte. Arnold’s cap and presented to the couple.”
