Bailey, Raymond Frederick

 

Born in 1924 in Windsor, ON, the son of Mr. H.W. and Mrs. Finalda Bailey of 191 Wellington St. West, Chatham, ON. the brother of Lorne A111443.  The husband of Helen Margaret (nee Reardon).  Stationed at RCAF-Clinton had arrived home on a two week furlough to visit his parents.

The CDN 10/04/43 reported that Ronald was returning to the RCAF Manning Pool, Toronto after spending a few day with his parents in Chatham. 

Ronald went overseas in June of 1943 and served in England and in Africa. He reported returning from overseas aboard troop ship “Alcantara” CDN 1/08/45 (P), expected to arrive at Quebec City the 5th of August, 1945. Arrived from overseas. CDN 8/08/45(P) Arrived in Chatham from overseas duty. He was discharged from the RCAF in September of 1945. CDN 1/08/45 

Discharged September 1945.
