Appears on the “Muster Roll” of the 2nd Bn., Kent Regiment (MG), N.P.A.N. (date unknown). Frederick would transfer to the RCNVR as a Stoc. V44229.  He enlisted at the age of 21 years.

The WN 27/01/44 reported Frederick was stationed at the Naval Training Establishment at Deepbrook, N.S.

Frederick served as a stocker aboard HMCS Dauphin for three years, mostly in the north Atlantic.

After the war Frederick began working for the Schultz Diecast Co., in Wallaceburg when he suffered an industrial accident that resulted in the loss of his left hand. After his accident he was employed as custodian by the Wallaceburg school board for 25 years, 18 at the Wallaceburg High School.   

Frederick passed away 19 February, 2007 at the age of 87 years.
