Born in Kent County in 1912.  The son of George Anthony Christian and Mrs. Louise King of Woodstock. The brother of L/Cpl. Robert, RCR William (with an honourable discharge), Clarence Signaller of the RCNVR, Mrs Meddie King, Mrs. Vela Toulouse, Mrs. Francis Butterman and Mrs. Don Knight.

John was reported to be serving in Italy in the Wallaceburg News on 26/04/45.

John was reported by C. Brant as having passed away in 1955.  John passed away in 1955 and is buried at Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg, ON.
