Born in 1924 the son of Mr. J. Wilfred and Mrs. Irene Coulter of Mabel St., Tilbury, ON., the brother of  W. C. ‘Bill’ R221204. 

The CDN 1/05/43 reported that AC2 Coulter who was stationed at No.1 RCAF – Manning Depot had been transferred to Brandon, MB.  Carl enlisted in Windsor, ON, in February of 1943. 

Training first at No. 2 RCAF Manning Depot – Brandon, MN. Carl was reported on leave to visit his parents. TT 10/06/43, MGF.  AC2 Carl was reported visiting his parents for a weekend while he was in Toronto.  TT 24/06/43.  Carl was reported on leave from the RCAF Toronto, Manning Centre. TT 5/08/43.

The CDN 3/12/43 reported he had completed his course at RCAF school Victoriaville, PQ. He was granted a two week furlough with his parents.

It was reported in the CDN 15/01/44 that LAC Carl “lately of Victoriaville, PQ.” had been posted to No. 23 E.F.T.S. Davidson, SK., where he would begin another course.

AC2 ‘Bill’ was home from No.1 RCAF Manning Pool in May of 1944 on a week-end leave to visit his parents in Tilbury. CDN 5/01/44, he would have another week-end leave in January reported in the CDN 27/01/44.

The CDN 14/04/44 reported Bill was on a weekend leave from RCAF-Toronto to see his parents 

The CDN 19/06/44 reported that Bill then stationed at Fingal B&G (Bombing and Gunnery) School was on a fortnight’s furlough at his paerent’s home.

The CDN, Aug.44 reported that AC2 Coulter of Fingal Bombing & Gunnery School was on a special leave with his parents before going to Summerside PEI to take the air-gunner’s course ‘to which he has mustered’.
