The son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Denkers of 24 Park Ave. West. Harry enlisted 29 June, 1940 with the Elgin Regt and went overseas in September of 1942. He saw action through France, Belgium, Germany and Holland.
The CDN 1/11/45(P) reported that he had arrived in Canada aboard the Queen Elizabeth.
