Resident Cedar Springs

Son of Walter Doey  and Alta (nee Mifflin) of Cedar Springs. The brother of Douglas, Allan and Murray. Lloyd attended school in Cedar Springs and his name appears on the Cedar Springs School Roll of Honour. The husband of Lillian ‘Jean’ (nee Baynton), the father of David, Richard, Sandy (Moore) and Wes.

Lloyd joined the Navy at the close of WWII.

After the war he resided in Chatham, ON. He worked at the Doey Gravel Pit in Cedar Spring. He was a lineman with the Chatham Hydro in 1954 retiring as Engineering Supervisor in 1990.

Lloyd was involved in many organizations Scouts, Minor Baseball, Goodfellows and Outreach for Hunger.

Lloyd passed away 10 November, 2017 with internment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. CDN 11/11/17(P).
