Small scar on back of right thumb.  Medical Exam: 39/03/16 “Fit” at Toronto, ON. “Signal Training Depot – Signal Pool. 31/05/16 – Signal Z Training Depot. Had never vaccinated. 

From Canada 6/08/16. Arrived in England in 1916 to 2nd Cdn. Div. Signals – France 

It wa reported that Ira had contracted the Mumps 21/02/17 to 12/03/17. He had swelling of left Parofid gland for two days. Swelling had displaced. Discharged to Duty.

15/03/19 reported “Sick” – MS 10/03/19. To England 22/04/1919.

He had Pharynyitis – 5/04/17 to 17/04/17 to 17/04/17 – Sore throat for four weeks, new letter to MO. – 16th General Hosp. Orpington, Kent, England. “War Service Gratuity – CE 7th RD. Payments went to Molson Bank – Ridgetown, ON. 29/03/16.

Discharge Certificate: Cdn. Engineers – Toronto 29/ 03/19.

Service in Canada, England and France. Retired 27/05/1019 at Ottawa, ON. Honourable Discharged: British War and Victory Medal. Living at 98 Indian Grove, Toronto, ON. 9/02/1961.

Embarked the S.S. Aquitania from South Hampton 18/05/19 and Disembarked at Halifax NS. 25/05/19. 27/05/19 was S.O.S. at Ottawa 11/03/19, He came down with Diptheria followed up again with Tonsilitis 29/03/19 t0 31/03/19
