The son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Faubert of R. R. #2 Tilbury, ON. Gordon enlisted with the RCAF in October 1943. He trained at Toronto, and Fengal, ON., on the east coast and finally in Quebec before going overseas. He was reported to be in England in August of 1943. CDN 23/08/44.

The CDN 12/09/44 reported Sgt. Faubert was serving with the RCAF in Europe.
