LAC Fish, an Air Frame Mechanic had returned to his home town after being stationed overseas in Newfoundland at Torbay and Gander. He was assigned to RCAF Summerside PEI after his leave.

The WN 2/05/46 reported that George was on a weekend pass from RCAF Rockcliff to visit his parents.
