The son of Mr. and Mrs.  William J. Glover of R.R.3, Wallaceburg (on the Snye) near Wallaceburg, ON.  Appears on the “Muster Roll” of the 2nd Bn., Kent Regiment (MG), N.P.A.N. (date unknown). Stanley would transfer to the RCAF and reach the rank of Flying Officer.

Sgt. Pilot Glover was reported to have arrived overseas according to his father. WN 28/05/42(P)

It was reported that Stan with two other Spitfire pilots shared in the destruction of enemy troop transport plane in Algiers. He and his companions were doing a low-level sweep over enemy territory when they sighted a Junkers 88 and climbed to the attack. CDN 23/02/43(P) 

The CDN 12/02/44 reported that WO2 S. K. Glover, had been commissioned a Pilot then serving overseas.

Reported returned from overseas service attending a Wallaceburg Kinsmen ‘Welcome Home’ dinner CDN. 24/01/45
