Rank Sargeant
Unit # R.C.A.F.

The son of Mrs. Clark Hainer of 614 Wallace St., Wallaceburg, ON.

It was reported that he “landed in town a few days ago” and sadly had no one to meet him after spending over two years on active service. He was going to ask the way to the bus station  when he received a greeting from George Colwell. George gave the returning air man a ride right to his front door “for which Sgt. Hainer voiced heartfelt appreciation.”

Sgt. Hainer, after an extensive leave would report back to the RCAF as he had volunteered for active service in the war against Japan. CDN 8/08/45
