The eldest son of Mrs. And Mrs. Don Hazzard. The father of Daryl. Jack served at RCAF No1. G. R.S., Summerside, Prince Edward Island  Prince Edward Island working on electrical components on aircraft sent to PEI from England for repairs.

The WN 25/05/44 Reported that John was engaged to marry Dana Audrey Spencer, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Spencer, wedding in June. The marriage was reported in the WN 25/05/44. After the honeymoon John resumed his duties at RCAF Summerside, PEI; his wife would join him once accommodations were available there.
