Doris had ten siblings. The wife of James Johnston. The mother of Larry, Helen (Fletcher) and Barbara (Graver).

After leaving the RCAF she and her husband farmed and raised a family, Doris spent most of her ninety-three years in the Valetta / Stewart community where she had many lifelong neighbours and friends.

Doris passed away at her home, 6 January, 2016. Janet V
