The son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ireland of Louise St. Next of kin reported as Mrs. J. Ireland re Norma (nee Fair) his wife of 155 ½ Patteson Ave., Chatham, ON. A cable announcing John had arrived overseas.
Stationed on the Staff of #12 B.T.C. until September 1943 when he went overseas. Served in England, Belgium, Holland and France, and Germany. He contributed much of the cartoon work used in the #12 B.T.C. Paper chin up and when overseas the Army paper The Maple Leaf used some of his work.
Discharged November 17th, 1945.
