For reasons not known Mr. Charles Laguer, moved to Sandy’s St., Township of Dover, County of Kent.   

James had a problem being absent: In 10/02/16. March 1916 absent 4/04/16 to 6/04/16, 30/04/16.  

He was also often in hospital: 28/05/16 – Parotidits, 1907/ 19/07/16 – Mump insolation at Follkstone 14/04/17 to 24/05/17, Chilblans 3/06/17 to 9/06/17, Myalgia 21/11/17. VGD 24/11/17 at Moore Barracks.   

Overseas aboard the S. S. Lapland from Halifax 26/04/16. Disembarked at Liverpool 5/05/16. To Shorncliffe to 39th Bn. 10/07/16 Drafted to 18th Bn 10/08/16 12/08/16 to the 39th Res. Was reported KIA.   

Transferred to 70th Bn. Later to CE. In the field 15/06/18. TOS with the CE. KIA 31/08/18. CDP 21/09/18.
