Sapper Joseph P Laing enlisted in 133rd Battion at Simcoe Feb 3rd 1916, he arrived in England June 1st 1916 and in France Aug. 12th 1916 with 4th Canadian Div Signal Coy with which unit he remained until Jan. 2nd 1919. Left France Jan 28th 1919 and arrived in Canada April 11th 1919
Discharged at Hamilton April 13th 1919 due to demobilization.
