The son of Clarence and Mary, the brother of Gerald.. The husband of Girda (first wife Mona 2014), the father of Robert, Brenda and Beverley (Briand).   

After the war Roy was the owner of Turner & Leach Pharmacy where he was a pharmacist for more than fifty years.

Roy passed away 25 March, 2017 at Meadow Park Nursing Home, internment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, ON. CDN-Obit 28/03/17(P).
