Gerald was born in 1918 in Chatham. The son of James and Mable Lenover of 122 Lacroix St., Chatham, Ontario. The brother of Charles (RCAF) and Walter (RCNVR). Next of Kin: Wife Mrs. Isobelle Lenover.
It was reported in the CDN 18/06/42 (P) that Gerald had recently arrived in England.
Trained with the Kent Regiment.
Transferred to the H.L.I. of Canada in 1942 and went overseas. Served in England, Sicily, Italy and the United Kingdom. Wounded and hospitalized in England.
Discharged March 13th, 1946.
