Born in Chatham, ON. in 1926 the son of Michael and Katrina (nee Buk) Leschyshyn. Brother of Shirley (Harris), Joe and Mary (Ritchie). Married to Donna (nee Dixon) of Ridgetown. The father of Rev. Sharon (Granger) Brenda (Robb), Vincent and Karen.
John served in the Canadian Army during WWII.
John passed away 3 September, 2015 at the Village, Ridgetown, ON., in his 89th year, with internment at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham, ON.
