Peggy and her new husband, O/S. Sidney ‘Sid’ Brown returned to Halifax, NS. returning to their duties. CDN 23/12/44.

Supplemental Information The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Marding, of Inshes Ave., Chatham. Employed at the Canadian Department Stores in Chatham prior to enlisting in the Navy. Peggy married Seaman Sidney Brown the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Brown of Montreal, PQ, also in the RCNVR, 18 June, 1944 in Christ Church, Chatham, ON., “the bride’s only adornment was a gold RCNVR locket the gift of the groom”. CDN16/06/44 and 20/06/44. The mother of Wayne. The couple settled in Chatham then moving to Mindon before retiring in London, ON. Peggy passed away at Victoria Hospital, London, ON. in her 94th year. CDN-Obit 6/10/14.
