The son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Martin of 434 King St., Wallaceburg, ON. The WN 20/08/42 reported that Sgt. Norman was home on leave from Lethbridge AB.  

Norman enlisted in with the RCAF in June, 1944 and graduated as a Pilot at SFTS No.6 Dunnville, ON. in April, 1942. He was assigned to the “mail squadron” serving there for two years flying mail to Europe, also seeing North Africa and the Mediterranian theatre.

The WN 26/04/45(P) reported that Norman that he was home on leave and would return to his duties.
