Sapper Maynard was a Lieutenant in the COTC at the CAC Guelph.

He enlisted in Canadian Engineers at London in May 1918 and after a short training proceeded overseas to England in June 1918.  Date of service 29/09/18. Departed Canada 29/06/18, arrived in England 22/07/18 and to France 20/09/18. Donald Stewart was KIA 25/10/18 in France or Belgium. 

Buried at Raismes, Communial Cemetery, Nord, France. (1.A.4)
