Graduated from No.2 Composite Training School – RCAF Toronto. It was reported that Marjorie had graduated as a parachute rigger. CDN 21/01/44.
The CDN 3/01/45 reported that LAW Marjorie Louise married LAC Donald Murray Powers of Thamesville. The marriage took place at the Lindsay Road United Church in Chatham, Twsp. on 6 January 1945. A reception took place at the Blue Bird tea room. The brides gift was a sterling compact and the groom received a sterling identification disc.
The couple had a short honeymoon before returning to their respective duties in Trenton.
