The son of George Jr. and Lucy (nee Hanson) Miller. The husband of Shirley (nee Edwards) the father of  Brian, Susan, Kathy. Clarence attended Chatham Collegiate Institute and the Chatham Business College prior to his enlistment.

Clearance enlisted 20 August, 1942.  While in the RCAF he was an Air Gunner instructor. The CDN 20/12/43 reported he and his sister and brother-in-law Kenneth R. Wood visiting Wayne Wood a Coxswain in the USCG, who lost his left leg in 1942 in a boat explosion, he was the son of Frank Woods of Harwich Twsp., Kent Co. ON.

He was discharged 28 March, 1945.

After the war Clarence worked in the office of Libby’s as an accountant for 25 years. He also worked at Canadian Fram for 18 years. 

Bud passed away in 2004. Obit-wife CDN 6/04/13.
