Wilfred enlisted in the RCAF in 27 August of 1940 and trained at Brandon, St. Thomas, Trenton and Toronto. CDN 11/04/44.

He married in Toronto 13 Apr., 1944 at the Century United church, New Toronto, ON. CDN 13/04/44.

Promoted to the rank of Sergeant.

Discharged October 20th, 1945.
