At his time of enlistment he was living in Quebec City at 256 St. Cynele St. with his wife Laura B. He lists his trade as a soldier with service in the Royal Canadian Regiment. Attestation: 20/06/1916 at Quebec City, Quebec Recruiting Depot. At some later time his telegraph address is changed to Highgate, ON.
