Munro, Floyd A.

 

The son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Munro of 422 King Street, Wallaceburg, ON. He had a brother Morley also serving overseas for the past four years.

Floyd had enlisted in August of 1940 with the 1st Kent Regt. and transferred to the Essex Scottish. He had been overseas since September 1942.   The WN 23/03/44 reported that Floyd was serving overseas on ‘active duty’.   He would later transfer to the 3rd Highland Light infantry. WS / WN. 23/05/46.
