The son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Newcombe, living living at Huffman Corners near Blenheim, brother of Wesley C. A109986. Murray was on leave from his training at RCAF Malton. CDN 21/06/44. Murray was home on a Christmas leave in December, 1944 and returned to RCAF-MacDonald, MB. To continue his training. CDN 29/12/44
The CDN 11/04/44 reported that LAC Newcombe was a dinner guest at the 35th Wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Newcombe. LAC Newcombe returned to RCAF Malton after spending a few days with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Albert Newcombe.
