Pte. Pacque was reported arrived home from his duties in Northern Ontario to attend the funeral of his father-in-law (Harry Mott). CDN 10/11/42

Pte. Pacque a member of the Veteran Guards of Canada spent a week-end leave with his wife and family on the Raleigh – Harwich town-line. CDN 12/10/43  The CDN 27/10/43 reported that Pte. Pacque spent a weekend with his wife and family. On the Sunday a large group of guests descended on their home.

It was reported that Cycil was home from his duties in Northern Ontario to visit his wife and sons who were living on the Harwich-Raleigh Townline in January of 1944. CDN 5/01/44.

In March of 1944 Cycil was on a few days furlough with his wife and family before leaving for a new camp. CDN 13/03/44
