Born in Blenheim in 1922. The son of Orbin and Margaret (nee McKibbin), the brother of Merle (Embury), Doug, Bev, Eileen, Gladys and Donald. The husband of Eleanor (nee Robins), the father of Jo Ann (McFarlane) and Richard.

Loyd passed away 13 April, 1996. Internment in Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim, ON.
