Bill received word that he was to report in Hamilton, ON. on 20 November to begin his training as a Radio Technician. TT 19/11/42, 3/12/42. It was reported that he was granted leave for Christmas 1942 to isit his family. TT 31/12/42
Bill was reported on a weekends furlough in March and April 1943. TT 4/03/43and 15/04/43. Don and Bill were on leave from Hamilton and Bill from Toronto in July 1943. TT29/07/43. Bill was at the family home with brother Don in September 1943. TT16/09/43. In October of 1943 Bill was on a weekend leave at his parents home. TT 14/10/43.
William was stationed at No.1 I.T.S. – Toronto when he was granted a weekend leave to visit Mr. and Mrs. Warren Pendergast in Tilbury. CDN 27/01/44
