Resident Wallaceburg

The son of Mrs. Margaret Peters.  

The Wallaceburg News reported 14/08/41 that Pte. Peters “of Sarnia” was then in the Kent Regt., in Chatham, ON. He was formerly of the village of Port Lampton.

The Wallaceburg News reported LAC Peters  was stationed training at S.F.T.S. Brantford, ON. as an AC1. WN-date unknown.

He was reported in the WN 16/04/45 that he had been in service for four years. He was discharged in April 1945 and while visiting his mother he called the Wallaceburg News office to thank the paper for sending copies of the paper each week since his enlistment.
