Pte. Charles Presley left Niagara for overseas October 28th, 1916, later transferring from the 35th Reserve to the 4th Reserve Battalion. He proceeded to France in October 1917 and received gunshot wounds to the right arm on November 6th, 1917. He was sent to Basingstoke, England, for treatment.
