Pte. Robert Preston served three years with the 6th Duke of Wellington Regiment in England.
Pte. Robert Preston trained at London with the 33rd Battalion, leaving for further training at Quebec December 5th, 1915. Here he was admitted to Hospital due to ear trouble, and after six weeks treatment was discharged.
Pte. Robert Preston received his honorable discharge February 20th, 1916, being unfit for military service.
