Attended Chatham Collegiate Institute.   N of K: Mrs. A. Pugh of R. R. # 1 Chatham, ON. The only son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Pugh of Chatham Twsp.

2/Lieut. W. K. Pugh was an officer in C-Coy., 2nd Bn., Kent Regt. before transferring to an overseas unit. The CDN 4/03/43(P) reported that Wilfred Kenneth had received his certificate at the Canadian Officers Training Centre at Three Rivers PQ. in February.

Lieut. W. Kenneth Pugh married Miss Dorene Cavnagh of England at the St. James Cathedral, in Wembly, on 25 March, 1944. The couple honeymooned in Windsor, England. Kenneth was serving with the Lincoln and Welland Regt. [paper uNknown] 11/04/44

Reported returning from overseas aboard the troop ship Ile de France, expected in Halifax, NS. second week of April, 1945. CDN4/08/45. Arrived from overseas on S. S. “Louis Pasteur” CDN 1/09/45.
