Riddell Robert Gordon

 

The son of Andrew and Margaret (nee Askin) Riddell, of 951 Windermere Road, Windsor. Ontario, Canada. Brother of Helen, Margaret, Grace, Anne, Winnifred and Warrant Officer I James Alexander Riddell, 239 Wing RAF, killed in a training accident on 3 August 1942.

Flying Officer Riddell is also commemorated on the Masonic War Memorial at Malden Park, in Windsor, Ontario.

Unit Text: 401 Sqd.. Age: 24, DOAA – Date of Death: 05/10/1942, a flying accident in a Spitfire fighter; crashed in England.
