The son of Mr. and Mrs. George Roebuck of the village of Terminus, ON. The WN 1/08/40 reported that Dean was training at Camp Borden when he was granted a week-end leave to visit his parents. It was reported that dean was enlisted with the Royal Canadian Regt. in London, ON.

Dean was reported in the WN 20/02/41 training at Camp Borden and was spending his leave at his parents home.   

The Wallaceburg News 15/05/41, reported that Tpr. Reobuck was then stationed at Camp Borden, ON., when granted a week-end leave to visit his parents.
