Previous Military Experience: Served three years with the 3rd Bedfordshire Regiment in World War 1.

After enlistment, he served in Niagara, Debert, N.S. and New Westminster B.C. with the Kents. Living on King st., West, Chatham, ON. reginald was on a 48 hour leave from the Kent Regt. in February of 1942. CDN 3/02/42. In 1942, he transferred to the Princess Louise Dragoon Guard, serving at several points in Canada. In 1943, he transferred to the 1st Canadian Training Battalion stationed at Debert, as Instructor. Promoted to the rank of Company Sergeant Major.

Date of Discharge: March 30, 1944.
