Born in 1925 the son of Mr. W. N. and Laura H. Sexsmith of 388 King St. W., Chatham, ON., brother of Ernest Ralph Lieut.

William had enlisted with the RCOC in July of 1943 but reenlisted in the RCAF. He spent a New Years eve furlough with his parents before returning to Toronto on the 4^th of January 1944.

CDN 5/01/44, his brother Lieut. E. Ralph was also at home on holiday leave.

He was discharged from the RCAF 27/04/1946.He only served in Canada.
