Son of  William and Mary Sherrah of Blenheim, ON. The CDN 16/10/43(P) was reported serving overseas.   It was reported that  Pte. Sherrah was taken as a POW when he landed on the beach during the D-Day invasion of Normandy.  It was reported that Pte. Harvey Sherrah was MIA as of 6 June, 1944 (D-Day +1). CDN 23/06/44. It was reported he was taken as a POW in the BNT 11/10/44. CDN 23/11/44. Reported returning from overseas duty aboard the vessel Queen Mary docking at New York City. CDN 11/07/45.
