Born 27/07/1922 at Blenheim, ON. The son of W. l. Shillington, the brother of Allan  who passed away in 2003.

The husband of Marion Louise (nee Cleveland); the father of Diane and Gordon.

Arthur trained as a Radio Technician in the RCAF, serving from 1941 to 1945. He was posted overseas serving in the Royal Air Force in Egypt. 

After the war he joined his father for a time in the W.L. Shillington & Sons, a hardware business in Blenheim, ON. In 1960 Arthur joined the Union Gas Co. While working there he completed a BA and MBA at the University of Windsor.

Arthur passed away 2 September, 2017 in Calgary where he and Marion moved in 2012. BNT 6/09/17
