Served overseas. He returned from overseas the week of 21 July, 1945. In 1946 he moved to Calgary, AB., married and stayed there.

The CDN 16/09/46 reported that his wife Martha and daughters Ann and Sandra arrived in Canada on the Queen Mary making her last repatriation cruise when she arrived in Halifax.
