The son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Sutton of Dresden, ON. The DT 29/10/42 reported that John spent a Friday night with his parents on his way to the West coast after visiting with his family in Toronto.

Served in Canada, Alaska, Pacific Command and Great Britain.

The DT 22/04/43 reported that LAC Sutton, stationed at RCAF-Bella Bella, BC along with his wife an children (of Toronto)  were visiting his parents in Dresden. The DT 13/01/44 reported that John serving with the RCAF had returned from overseas to spend time with his parents.
