Son of Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Thibert and brother of Pte. Alex and Gnr. Phillip of Tilbury East Twsp. He enlisted in 1940 with the Royal Canadian Regt. and went overseas the same year. Reported returning to Canada from overseas duty aboard the troopship “Pasteur” expect to dock at Quebec City on the 22nd of September 1945. CDN 20/09/45.
