Born 30/01/1888 at Blenheim, ON. The son of George Morris and Sarah Emily (nee Rippon) Tupholme. His parents had immigrated from England settled in Ridgetown in 1883. Allen was the brother of Nellie, Harold and Ida .
Allen enlisted in 5 June, 1917 at Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA Army. He would also enlist during WWII at Pittsfield, Massachusettes where he had his own business Tupholme Inc.
